CRIME REPORTING

We now have two residents looking after crime information in the area and reporting it to the police, especially during the three-weekly tasking meetings.  Sue Atkins is the Neighbourhood Watch Co-ordinator (sue_atkins@blueyonder.co.uk 0121 354 6571) and Tracey Campbell (tacampbell@sky.com 07946 551 731) is representing the Neighbourhood Forum.
Meanwhile, try
www.myneighbourhood.info for further information, bearing in mind that "Boldmere" includes Wylde Green, Boldmere and the Chester Road Station locality, as well as Banners Gate.

Notes from Tasking meeting report - Tracey Campbell

A letter that is going to all the residents of Coppice View, Reay Nadin and George Frederick, is still in the pipe line. It will have on it times and days when drivers will be fined for parking on dropped kerbs, zigzags and peoples driveways. We are still getting round the issue of residents and their guests not being fined for parking outside their own homes. At the moment parking will be restricted from Monday-Friday between 8.00 to 9.00 am and 3.00 to 4.00 pm., term time only. The school will also be notified to highlight this to parents.
Scrap Men: the police and Council agree that the frequency and the noise level is getting out of hand. The council will have more power to act if complaints come from residents, so at the moment I am keeping a log of registration numbers and times. Today I had four scrap men round, and the noise was deafening.  Bus Stop Rough Road: I have asked for paving to be laid at the bus stop on Rough Road on the Banners Gate slip road side, as at the moment anyone getting on that bus is standing in a dirt area, there is no path to lead up to the stop.
