our guest especially at Christmas time. This was the first time the Lord Mayor of Birmingham has been to Banners Gate Community Hall and a guest of BGCA. I would like to thank everyone who made this event happen with special thanks to the BGCA committee and also to Tracey Campbell who put on such a lovely brunch." Activate Club The Youngsters at Banners Gate Activate Games Club had a nice surprise on Tuesday 13th December 2011. Upon attending the Activate Club they found that a surprise Christmas Party was about to take place. After many weeks of enjoying games and activities the youngsters enjoyed a Christmas Party with a disco, soft drinks, a lovely buffet and "Pass the Parcel". The children all went home with a Christmas card and a gift from Santa. The children were so well behaved and deserved their special treat. Staff at Activate Club would like to thank all helpers on the day and those behind the scenes such as the BGCA committee and Tracey Campbell for also arranging the lovely buffet. Our congratulations to Community Volunteers, Val Kieght, Tracey Campbell and Margaret Dilloway for passing their First Aid Courses. The courses were held with St. Johns Ambulance. Well done to you all www.bannersgatecommunityassociation.co.uk/activate www.bannersgatecommunityassociation.co.uk
